M26Fit has recently partnered with Full Spectrum Education to create educational content about the health and education sectors. Celebrate NAIDOC Week with Full Spectrum Education! This week, we shine our 'For Our Elders' spotlight on the remarkable Bronwyn Bancroft, an incredible author and illustrator who has beautifully captured First Nations' culture and traditions in her children's books.

Bancroft's books serve as powerful resources to educate children about the rich heritage of Australia's First Nations people.  Their importance in fostering respect, reconciliation, and recognition of the world's oldest continuous living cultures cannot be overstated.

By incorporating her books, we can engage our students in learning about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority. Join us in honouring Bronwyn Bancroft during NAIDOC Week, and let's celebrate and promote cultural understanding and respect in our classrooms. Together, we can create inclusive and enriching learning environments.

Lawn Bowls with FSE!

FSE recently organised a delightful lawn bowl social event, and it was a fantastic gathering filled with fun and camaraderie. The event had some standout moments, including Janelle Cameron receiving the well-deserved 'Best Dressed Award' for her impeccable style. Rajinesh Lal was recognized with the 'Furthest Distance Travelled to Attend Award' for going the extra mile to join us. Ian Wilson was honoured with the 'Team Player Award' for his outstanding sportsmanship and contributions to the games. We enjoyed friendly games of lawn bowls with varying degrees of success. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air as we tried our hand at this classic sport. A special mention goes to the team at 'The Boo' for flawlessly serving up delicious hamburgers that were enjoyed by all.A big thank you to everyone who attended and made the event a memorable one. Your presence added to the vibrant atmosphere and created lasting memories. We're already looking forward to our next event, and Victoria, get ready because you're up next! Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and we can't wait to see all of you there!

“Josh can’t focus for more than five minutes. That’s what I saw when I first met him six months ago. It was a struggle for him to stay interested and on task, our progress together was pretty slow. The Blackhawks Ice Hockey Club was formed in 1947 and has a storied history as one of Victoria’s oldest clubs. Harmony Week

This week the FSE team is celebrating Harmony Week, where we acknowledge and celebrate Australia's cultural diversity.Let's come together with co-workers, friends and family to encourage inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians regardless of linguistic or cultural background. Orange is the colour chosen to represent harmony week and represents social communication and meaningful conversations. You can show your support by wearing something orange this week.

Full Spectrum Education attended the phenomenal Stand Tall event in Dubbo, NSW. Stand Tall is a TedX style event for secondary students now in its 10th year, bringing a host of speakers together to arm students with the skills of resilience, the strength to stand up to bullying, the keys to motivation, the power of perspective and the benefits of making good and wise decisions. These come together to build hope for the future in these students, a vital component to their mental wellbeing.

A huge thank you to the Stand Tall community for allowing us to be a part of the undeniable impact you have made on the rural area of Dubbo. There were some tremendous performances and speakers such as Michael Crossland, Timomatic and Tony Hoang and the students loved every second!

Our Year 10s & 11s are working on their transition to their next year over the holidays. Only two hours a week can go a long way to preventing backslide over the break.

On average, there are 28 students in an Australian secondary class. If your child’s teacher spent some time with each student during each hour long lesson, they could manage approximately 2 minutes per child.

We know for most students, 2 minutes per hour at school is simply not enough. Adding a Full Spectrum Educator to your child’s learning system means they will have an additional 2 hours per week of completely individualised, one-on-one support!
