This comes after a complete overhaul of the NAPLAN test, which now has higher benchmarks based on international testing standards."

an incredible author and illustrator who has beautifully captured First Nations' culture and traditions in her children's books.
Bancroft's books serve as powerful resources to educate children about the rich heritage of Australia's First Nations people. Their
importance in fostering respect, reconciliation, and recognition of the world's oldest continuous living cultures cannot be overstated.
By incorporating her books, we can engage our students in learning about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures

FSE recently organised a delightful lawn bowl social event, and it was a fantastic gathering filled with fun and camaraderie. The event had some standout moments, including Janelle Cameron receiving the well-deserved 'Best Dressed Award' for her impeccable style. Rajinesh Lal was recognized with the 'Furthest Distance Travelled to Attend Award' for going the extra mile to join us. Ian Wilson was honoured with the 'Team Player Award' for his outstanding sportsmanship and contributions to the games. We enjoyed friendly games of lawn bowls with varying degrees of success. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air as we tried our hand at this classic sport. A special mention goes to the team at 'The Boo' for flawlessly serving up delicious hamburgers that were enjoyed by all.A big thank you to everyone who attended and made the event a memorable one. Your presence added to the vibrant atmosphere and created lasting memories. We're already looking forward to our next event, and Victoria, get ready because you're up next! Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and we can't wait to see all of you there!
“Josh can’t focus for more than five minutes. That’s what I saw when I first met him six months ago. It was a struggle for him to stay interested and on task, our progress together was pretty slow. But something changed this term. Josh started keeping himself on task and he was genuinely curious about why things worked. He started catching himself when he took shortcuts with his working out, and would actually say to himself, ‘No, I should redo it the proper way.’ I was shocked and asked him what changed this term. He simply said, ‘I just want to show my mum and dad that I’m improving my grades.’.
